My experience teaching Mathematics and Social Science in a government school has been both deeply impactful and personally transformative. Working with students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, I had the opportunity to not only teach curriculum content but also to address learning gaps and foster a love for learning in subjects often perceived as challenging or distant from students' lived realities. In Mathematics, I focused on strengthening foundational numeracy skills and developing students' problem-solving abilities. I used relatable examples, visual aids, and activity-based learning methods to demystify concepts such as fractions, geometry, and algebra. Emphasis was placed on building conceptual clarity rather than rote learning, encouraging students to think critically and apply mathematical reasoning in real-life contexts. In Social Science, I aimed to make the subject engaging and relevant by connecting historical events, civic structures, and geographical concepts to the students’ everyday experiences. Discussions, storytelling, role plays, and visual maps were used to create an interactive classroom environment. I encouraged inquiry-based learning, where students were invited to ask questions, express opinions, and reflect on social issues affecting their communities. A key part of my role involved adapting pedagogy to suit multi-level classrooms, addressing varied learning needs, and creating inclusive learning spaces. I also engaged with parents and school staff to support student progress holistically. Teaching in a government school taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of contextualized education. Despite infrastructural limitations, I witnessed firsthand how consistent effort, creativity, and a student-first mindset can drive meaningful learning outcomes. This experience deepened my commitment to educational equity and further strengthened my belief in the transformative power of public education.

I know him four almost 4 years now and whenever I feel confused or gets any doubt in study, I always asked him to help me. All my classmates also used to admire him and his teaching skills, which makes a very good teacher. "

"I just wanted to share that I had a truly wonderful experience in this class. Honestly, I’ve always considered myself a weak student when it comes to mathematics. It’s one of those subjects that used to intimidate me — no matter how much I tried, I always felt like I was missing something. But when Sir started teaching us, something changed. The way he explained the concepts made things so clear and simple. For the first time, maths didn’t feel like an impossible subject. It started to make sense — step by step, logically, and even enjoyably. What stood out the most was how patiently Sir handled every doubt, no matter how basic it seemed. That made it easier for me to not feel judged and to ask questions freely. Slowly, I began to understand things I had struggled with before. More than just formulas and numbers, I learned how important the right guidance and attitude can be in learning. Now, I feel much more confident than I ever have in maths — and that itself is a big win for me. Thank you, Sir, for changing the way I look at this subject. I truly appreciate your efforts. "

"One of the best teacher I have ever had. More than just a teacher, he's been like a mentor to me, always supportive, always pushing me to do better. Maths used to feel scary, but now it feels like a subject I genuinely enjoy solving problems and have been a consistent performer in this subject. I'm honestly lucky to have had him as a teacher. "
