During my time teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I have had the privilege of guiding students in Economics, with a special focus on Mathematics, Statistics, and Econometrics. Many of the students I worked with did not have a strong background in Mathematics, so I made it my mission to break down complex concepts using real-life examples that they could relate to. This approach not only made learning accessible but also helped students build confidence without relying on rote memorization. Since 2019, I have been developing and delivering a MOOC on Mathematical Economics through the SWAYAM platform, an initiative by the Government of India. The course has been well-received by learners across the country, and I'm receiving heartfelt feedback from students who found the course practical and easy to follow. My teaching philosophy is simple: focus on understanding the basics. Once the foundational ideas are clear, students find that learning advanced topics becomes less intimidating and more enjoyable. Whether in offline classrooms or through online learning platforms, I aim to make Economics approachable, engaging, and directly applicable to everyday situations—so students not only learn but also see its relevance in their lives.

Teaching Experience in detail in Class 12 Tuition
I started my career in teaching as a subject teacher of Economics, teaching Class 11 and Class 12 students. Many of the students I worked with came from diverse academic backgrounds, some of them having limited exposure to economics . I focused on helping them grasp foundational concepts by connecting lessons to everyday experiences, making abstract ideas more concrete and relatable. My approach emphasized conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I believe that when students understand the "why" behind a formula or principle, learning becomes intuitive and enjoyable. For example, when teaching topics like elasticity or demand-supply models, I would use real-life situations such as pricing at local markets or household budgeting to explain how these concepts operate in daily life. I provided structured lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, with practice problems that built gradually from basic to advanced levels. I also encouraged active participation, group discussions, and doubt-clearing sessions to foster confidence and clarity. Beyond academics, I motivated students to overcome their fear of economic tools and econometric techniques by breaking them into manageable steps. This approach helped many students not only score well in exams but also develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. My teaching for Class 12 has been rewarding, as I have seen students grow from hesitant learners to confident individuals capable of tackling challenging topics with ease and curiosity.
