I hold an MSc in Chemistry and a B.Ed degree. With over twenty-five years of experience in teaching, my passion lies in making the subject of chemistry more approachable and enjoyable for students. My ultimate goal is to help them understand the complexities of chemistry and foster a genuine interest in the subject, nurturing their knowledge and academic growth.
After graduation, I began conducting classes through home tuition and worked at the Holicross Ashram School for a year. I moved to Dehradun, where I taught at M Mary School for one year. During this time, I continued developing my educator skills, constantly seeking innovative ways to engage my students. The positive feedback from students and their parents encouraged me to pursue my passion for teaching.
Since then, I have been consistently teaching students through various tuition classes, both online and offline. My expertise lies in teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to tenth-grade students and Chemistry to eleventh and twelfth-grade students for CBSE, ICSE, UP, and MP boards—my teaching hours in between 3 pm to 6 pm.
To ensure effective learning, I design comprehensive lesson plans with a strong focus on activity-based education. Practical demonstrations and engaging activities help students quickly grasp complex concepts. I also use a whiteboard during my classes, along with assignments and regular tests, to gauge my students' progress. I have witnessed the transformation of many students once intimidated by chemistry. Watching them develop a keen interest in the subject and witnessing their knowledge grow has been immensely fulfilling for me as an educator. Teaching is not just a profession for me; it is my passion and calling. I am committed to empowering my students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel academically and beyond.
