Sunitha K. - Teaching professional with 18 years of experience

I teach Mathematics to students from Classes 6 to 10 and have 18 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I have worked with students at different academic levels and have helped them strengthen their fundamentals, improve their problem-solving skills, and perform better academically.

I believe Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind a problem rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures. I therefore focus on building conceptual clarity and helping students understand each step of the problem-solving process.

I hold a Master of Engineering / Master of Technology (M.E./M.Tech.) degree. My academic background, combined with my extensive teaching experience, has helped me develop strong subject knowledge and an understanding of how to explain mathematical concepts to school students.

Over my 18-year teaching journey, I have gained considerable experience in identifying students' individual learning needs. I understand that some students may require more foundational support while others may need additional practice with challenging problems. I adapt my approach according to their requirements.

I prefer conducting my classes online because it provides flexibility and allows me to teach students from different locations. I can conduct both individual and small-group sessions depending on the student's learning needs and requirements.

I follow a lesson plan for every class and focus on clear understanding, regular practice, and doubt clarification. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves so that they can gradually develop confidence in solving Mathematics questions independently.

My teaching journey has been very rewarding, and my goal is to continue helping students build a strong foundation in Mathematics. I want my students to approach the subject with greater confidence and develop the conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills they need for their academic progress.
