You can enrol for courses online from different platforms like Jigsaw Academy or Diploma courses from Upgrad. They give you a certificate at the end and help you with the placements as well.

As per researchers, data scientists are one amongst the highest paying professionals in India. But, is it easy to become a data scientist? The answer differs from person to person. However, the job of a data scientist is to clean data, analyze data for new insights, collect data from disparate sources, uncover data-analytics problems, validate data and more. Thus, it required certain skills to become a successful data scientist. Some of the skills include attention to detail, programming skills, in-depth knowledge of calculus & Linear algebra and good in statistics. You also need to have data wrangling, machine learning and data visualization skills. Regarding becoming a data scientist, it is advantageous to have a mathematics background. It is also considered an advantage to have a degree in finance, computer studies, statistics, economics and business studies, statistics. As per a report, roughly 50% of data scientists hold a Master’s degree in India, whereas 34% are Bachelor’s degree holders. Just about 6% hold a PhD. So, if you have the education and the skills mentioned above, then, go ahead and get trained by the best trainer. It’s just a matter of time, you’ll for sure become a data scientist in the future.
