Danish is almost impossible to master as a foreigner. They say you can never fully obtain the accent even with decades of practice unless you're from there. However, when it comes to learning languages, it depends entirely up to you. I speak multiple languages and just can pick them up naturally for some reason, but my dear friend who learned Portuguese for me said it took him 9 months. Practice the whole alphabet as a child in kindergarten would. Remember you're new to this! Master the sounds of the Danish alphabet so your mouth muscles will form to have their accent. Then learn main words and THEN learn grammar. Phrases and exceptions and rules should be last. read less
