What is the future of Indian CAs after 5 years from now, as most of the corporate education sector is concentrating on CA course and attracting huge candidates. Down the line in another 5 years of time we will have 1000 of CAs. Will they have benefits and market as enjoyed by the Existing CAs?

Chartered Accountants is one of the most elite professions in the world. No one understands a Company's financial Health better than a CA. So long as our economy flourishes, CA's are and will continue to remain the most sought after professionals in the world.

Add to this a recent report published in the newspapers about the poor quality of education the students are receiving in the name of doing CA - and the overall picture appears dismal. In order to continuing to stay relevant, both aspiring and practicing CAs are advised to keep upgrading their knowledge base and keep polishing their social/professional networking skills. So 5 years hence the students who have passed today will be 5 yr experienced and would be preferred in corporate scenario. And more or less this is happening with all the courses. Remember those times when even BE was a huge thing.. and now its joked that people 1st take an engineering degree and then think what they should be doing.
