Let me illustrate with an example. A collegue of yours presents a project plan. Reponse - Would be anything that you feel/think. This could mean many things a. you got inspired and added to the idea b. you felt the project was good or bad and gave your opinion c. You found some loopholes etc. essentially its anything under the sun (or the sky). The person would then "respond" back to your thoughts. This could be contructive or even lead to a conversation with no conclusion. Feedback - This is a type of response with a purpose. Mostly it is seen as something negative, because none of us like to be corrected. In this case it would mean analysing the project plan for it's plusses and minuses and communicating the same. The feedback could include what is good about it, areas of improvement, or even saying that it needs to be reworked completely. If all is good, then it would mean that one could proceed with the next steps. If there are areas of improvement, thenthe project would need to be reworked before the next steps can be taken. Improvement (ideally) ensues feedback. Inother words feedback is sought or imposed for improvement to happen. read less
