Personality refers to the sum total of who you are as a person- what you think, how you feel and how you behave. Personality Development is all about understanding what your thought processes are, what your feelings are and how you behave. In fact, Personality Development can be a smaller section of a broader concept called Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence basically entails being aware of one's own thoughts and emotions, accepting them, taking charge of them and managing them, understanding the thoughts and emotions of others and managing the emotions of others as well. An emotionally intelligent individual has clarity of thoughts. When there is clarity in thoughts, there is scope for better communication. Communication essentially entails Active Listening, Effective Communication and Knowing how to articulate your thoughts Assertively. Personality Development is all about self reflection whereas Communication Skill Development is all about practice. read less
