Nrithya Niketan School of Dance

I am a Bharatanatyam artist and dance educator with 15 years of experience in learning and practising the classical art form. I am a disciple of Vidushi Smt. Mrudula Rai, under whose guidance I continue to develop my technique, artistic expression, and understanding of Bharatanatyam. I am associated with Nritya Niketan School of Dance, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where I contribute to teaching and sharing the beauty of Bharatanatyam with students of different age groups and skill levels. My teaching experience includes guiding children and adults at beginner and intermediate levels through both online and offline classes. My artistic journey includes temple performances and cultural programmes, where I have had the opportunity to present traditional Bharatanatyam repertoire. I believe in maintaining the authenticity of the art form while encouraging discipline, expressive storytelling, and a deeper appreciation of Indian classical dance. As an artist and educator, my goal is to continue growing through performance and learning, nurture the next generation of dancers, and contribute to preserving and celebrating the rich tradition of Bharatanatyam.
