Nirmala L.

I am an experienced English teacher with 25 years of teaching experience, specializing in English language and English literature. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and have competed my teachers training in 1999.
After retiring from my full-time teaching career, I am now restarting my journey as an online tutor because of my passion for the subject and teaching. I truly enjoy engaging with young minds and finding creative ways to learn the language without it just being an academic requirement. I hold an experience of tutoring students across academic boards while also enjoying tutoring adults in spoken English . I perceive one of my key strengths to be helping students who fear or struggle to appreciate the language and literature to improve their understanding, build confidence and aim at improving their academic performance through sheer curiosity and practice.
I enjoy creating clear, simple and directive notes and study materials to support students’ learning experience.
