Teaching Experience in detail in Graphic Designing Classes
Teaching Experience – 10+ Years in Graphic Design I am the founder and Graphic Design instructor at Jegan School of Art, with over 10 years of experience in Graphic Design training and practical design work. My teaching approach combines strong design fundamentals, hands-on software training, and real-world industry experience to help students develop professional design skills. I have previous work experience as a Graphic Designer in the garment industry, where I gained practical knowledge of commercial design requirements, creative problem-solving, visual communication, and professional project workflows. This industry exposure helps me guide students beyond software knowledge and prepare them for real-world design challenges. Subjects and Software I Teach * Adobe Photoshop – photo manipulation, image editing, retouching, and creative compositions. * Adobe Illustrator – logo design, vector illustrations, typography, and branding. * Adobe InDesign – page layout, brochures, catalogues, and publication design. * CorelDRAW – vector graphics, print design, visiting cards, brochures, and other commercial design materials. * Graphic Design Fundamentals – colour theory, typography, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy. My Teaching Methodology * Step-by-step practical training for beginners and advanced learners. * Hands-on assignments and real-world design projects. * Industry-oriented techniques and professional design workflows. * Portfolio development to showcase students’ skills. * Individual guidance based on each student’s learning level and career goals. * Practical exercises to improve creativity, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. At Jegan School of Art, my goal is to help students gain confidence in their creative abilities and develop the practical skills required for freelance work, employment, and professional graphic design careers. I focus on making learning simple, practical, and career-oriented through structured lessons and project-based training.
