Amazon has been in the cloud computing a few more years than Microsoft and have good offerings/services and customer base. Amazon have service called GovCloud, which helps government agencies move some of their operations to the cloud. When it comes to licensing, Microsoft tailor Azure to meet the needs of its corporate customers. If your organization rely on Microsoft Active Directory, you will find Azure a better fit for your organization, because it integrates well into other Microsoft products. read less
