The eccentric angle of a point on an ellipse with semi major axes of length a and semi minor axes of length b is the angle t in the parametrization. x = a cost (1) y = b sint, (2) i.e., for a point (x,y), t=tan^(-1)((ay)/(bx)).

When power of any number have 0 then it gives a value equal to 1. Why ?
