Experience of 10 years

I teach Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to students in Classes 9 and 10, and I also teach Mathematics to students in Classes 11 and 12. I have been teaching for the past 25 years, and over this time I have worked with students at different learning levels and helped them build strong academic foundations. My primary focus is on making concepts clear, developing problem-solving abilities, and helping students approach their examinations with confidence. I have completed my Master of Science (M.Sc.) along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). My academic qualifications, combined with my extensive teaching experience, have given me a strong understanding of the subjects I teach as well as the different ways in which students learn. My B.Ed. training has also helped me develop effective teaching strategies that allow me to structure lessons according to the student's level and academic requirements. Over my 25 years in teaching, I have gained experience in several aspects of the education field. I have worked as a visiting faculty member and have also been involved in boarding and examination-related responsibilities, including paper checking. These experiences have given me valuable exposure to assessment, examination patterns, student performance, and the academic expectations of different levels. They have also helped me understand how students can improve not only their subject knowledge but also their approach to examinations. I believe that a strong foundation is essential for students to perform well in Mathematics and Science. My classes therefore begin with the basics, and I gradually take students towards more advanced concepts and challenging problems. I focus on explaining the reasoning behind a concept instead of encouraging students to depend only on memorisation. Once the fundamentals are clear, I provide sufficient opportunities for students to practise and apply what they have learned. My teaching methodology is interactive and student-focused. I first try to understand the student's current level, strengths, areas of difficulty, and academic goals. I then plan the lessons accordingly and follow a step-by-step approach. During classes, I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and solve problems themselves. I believe this active involvement helps students identify their mistakes, improve their understanding, and gradually become more independent learners. I also use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard as part of my teaching. These tools help me explain concepts clearly, work through problems step by step, and make lessons more organised and interactive. Regular practice and doubt-solving are important parts of my classes. I pay attention to individual difficulties and provide additional explanation or practice wherever required so that students do not move ahead with gaps in their understanding. I offer both online and offline classes based on the student's requirements and convenience. My aim is to take students from zero to hero by helping them strengthen their fundamentals, develop confidence, and improve their problem-solving skills over time. Whether a student needs support in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry for Classes 9 and 10, or Mathematics for Classes 11 and 12, I provide structured guidance with a strong focus on conceptual clarity, consistent practice, and examination preparation.

I begin by laying a strong foundation in the core concepts, as Class 11 Mathematics can be complex. Topics like Sets, Relations and Functions, Trigonometry, Polynomials, Calculus, and Statistics are carefully introduced, with a focus on understanding the fundamental principles behind each concept. I focus on explaining problem-solving strategies. For example, in topics like Integration and Differentiation, I guide the student through the basic rules and formulas and then demonstrate their applications step-by-step. I provide practice problems that increase in difficulty to help students master each topic. Mathematics requires a lot of practice, so I assign students a range of problems from basic to advanced, ensuring they have exposure to all types of questions. For example, in Trigonometry, I ensure that students are comfortable with various identities, equations, and properties before moving on to solving higher-level problems. Before exams, I provide focused revision sessions where I go through previous year’s questions, helping students learn how to structure their answers and manage time effectively during exams.
