Maximum students waste those crucial few seconds calculating simple multiplication.

Few tricks that might help saving 10-15mins..Remember, saving 10 mins is like gold in board examination.

1. Multiplying 150×60..

Please make it simpler..15×6=90 and put 2 0's..so, 9000 is your ans.

2. 234×22

234×2=468.. 234×20=4680 +(234×2)=4680+468=5148.

3. Unitary method sums or substitution sums:

It is always better to take all the numbers in one side and then multiply / divide..rather than going on calculating.

18x × 9/(3)=27×27.

18x × 9 = 27×27×3

x= 27×27×3/(18×9)

x=13.5

4. While doing simple interest sums and calculating no. Of days..

Search for 73, 146, 219,292.

These are multiples of 73 and factors of 365.

  1. Eg: 73/365= 1/5 year and so on.
