In C/C++ every statement should be terminate by semicolon (;) for execution. So "Hello Word" is also required same under printf statement.

The statement written under C in C++ language must be terminated with semicolon. The result will not have semicolon instead you can enter "Hello World. " and execute the program whatever you type in colons under printf will only be executed on the black screen.
