Educated population can find the solution for problems like global warming,, deforestation by finding means to use the resources judiciously. It's not the population that is the problem but the approach to problem. read less

It is not necessarily so, provided we preserve natural ecosystem and fight pollution unitedly. If we prudently manage resources and use technologies efficiently population increase can become a boon rather than a bane.

If you've ever been on a train you'll see that most of the space between cities is either uninhabited or being utilized for agriculture. Land is abundant. The problem is not even high population "density." It is the insistence of the masses to stick to a brainless socio-economic system than makes it almost impossible for producers to create value: socialism. The problem is NOT that there are a lot of humans; the problem is that there aren't values to support them. Look at western countries. Look at what is going on in Venezuela. You'll get my point. read less
