I think you should start with history of physics, students want to listen the stories, this will enlight the students to think how the scientist were thinking in old days. Now we have elaborated them.

In every chapter there might be some basic concepts, laws or formulas... First note them down..think of easiest examples initially that relates the concept to make them understand... And if there are any problems based on formulas.. Make them learn n understand how the formulas work and give them problems...
