Comments profit if sells shirt =100rs loss when he sells woolen jacket =50rs According to question: Total loss after selling 10 jackets = 200 But according to the details given in the question if he sells 10 jackets he suffers a loss of (10*50)=500rs. So the number of shirts he sold on that day = (500-200)=300rs So if 1 shirt brings a profit of 100rs so he sold 3 shirts on that day.

Comments toatal loss on that day = 10 * 50 = 500 , total profit of the day = 500 - 200 = 300 , 300 profit is equivalent to 300/100 = 3 shirt , ans =3
