Basically as a teacher you should know your subject well. Most times a learner asks the "why" questions, so be prepared to answer them without being vague. It's always good to go through the material aforehand. This will give you the teaching confidence. I've written an article for the benefit of teachers and would be glad to forward it to all teachers that would be interested.

Uniformly accelerated motion is motion with a constant, uniform change in velocity.
1. An object falling in a vacuum under the influence of gravity has nearly uniform acceleration with a change in speed,
2. A planet orbiting a star in a circular orbit has uniform acceleration with no change in speed.

Rusting is a slow process of oxidation of iron exposed to oxygen and water vapour. Both oxygen and water is required for rusting. In absence of either of the latter factors, rusting doesnot occur. The reddish brown substance formed is called rust, having a molecular formula of Fe2O3·xH2O. Here x stands for the number of molecules of water attached to each molecule of ferric oxide. The reactions stand as:- The key reaction is the reduction of oxygen:

O2 + 4 â??eâ?? + 2 â??H2O â?? 4 â??OHâ??
Because it forms hydroxide ions, this process is strongly affected by the presence of acid. Indeed, the corrosion of most metals by oxygen is accelerated at low pH. Providing the electrons for the above reaction is the oxidation of iron that may be described as follows:

Fe â?? Fe2+ + 2 â??eâ??
The following redox reaction also occurs in the presence of water and is crucial to the formation of rust:

4 Fe2+ + O2 â?? 4 Fe3+ + 2 O2â??
In addition, the following multistep acidâ??base reactions affect the course of rust formation:

Fe2+ + 2 â??H2O â?? Fe(OH)2 + 2 â??H+
Fe3+ + 3 â??H2O â?? Fe(OH)3 + 3 â??H+
as do the following dehydration equilibria:

Fe(OH)2 â?? FeO + â??H2O
Fe(OH)3 â?? FeO(OH) + â??H2O
2 FeO(OH) â?? Fe2O3 + â??H2O «less

It is formed when iron reacts with the oxygen of the air in the presence of moisture (water) to form a brown substance known as iron oxide. The process is a chemical reaction, which takes place over a period of time. It should be noted that oxygen and water are necessarily present for iron to rust

Those gas molecules in the Earth's atmosphere with three or more atoms are called "greenhouse gases" because they can capture outgoing infrared energy from the Earth, thereby warming the planet.
The greenhouse gases include water vapor with three atoms (H2O), ozone (O3), carbon dioxide (CO2), and methane (CH4).

Organic particles are the result of both plants and animals inhabiting the area. While some soil has only one particle type, the most fertile soil is a mixture of several organic and inorganic components.
Organics in soil are due to the presence and decomposition of plant and animal matter in the area. Humus, a partially decomposed organic matter, is a common form of organics in garden soil that will continue to decompose over time. While the percent of organic matter in most topsoil is only 2 to 4 percent, it plays an important role in the garden. Organic matter is good for promoting aeration, drainage and soil moisture retention in the soil. The organic matter also reduces erosion and supplies plant nutrients such as sulfur, phosphorous and nitrogen to the plant's root zone. The organics will also help to reduce the threat of plant disease in the garden by promoting a healthy growing environment «less
