Why is tungsten metal used in bulbs but not in fuse wires?

Tungsten is a metal whose melting point is very high. It is used in bulbs because tungsten will not catch fire in the bulb. But it is not used in fuse wires because fuse wires need a low melting point.

A tungston has a very high melting point and thus it wont burn in a bulb but will not fulfil the purpose of a fuse wire to burn away in case of excess current. SO cant be used

A tungston has a very high melting point and thus it wont burn in a bulb but will not fulfill the purpose of a fuse wire to burn away in case of excess current. Fuse wire need to have low melting point ,when excess current flows,the wire melts and circuit is broken.
