Tungsten having high melting point 4500degree of Fahrenheit For the preparation of fuse wire Low melting point material about 200degree centigrade required Fuse wire generally made up of led and tin alloy
Comments

Tungsten is a metal whose melting point is very high. It is used in bulbs because tungsten will not catch fire in the bulb. But it is not used in fuse wires because fuse wires need a low melting point.

Tungsten is used in bulbs because of its high melting point; it is not used in fuse wire because it requires a low melting point metal.

A tungston has a very high melting point and thus it wont burn in a bulb but will not fulfil the purpose of a fuse wire to burn away in case of excess current. SO cant be used

A tungston has a very high melting point and thus it wont burn in a bulb but will not fulfill the purpose of a fuse wire to burn away in case of excess current. Fuse wire need to have low melting point ,when excess current flows, the wire melts and circuit is broken.

Tungsten has high melting point which is suitable for bulbs but due to this it cant be used in fuse wires as it needs low melting point.

Which gas is produced when dilute hydrochloric acid is added to a reactive metal? Write the chemical reaction when iron reacts with dilute H2SO4.

Hydrogen gas is produced. Fe + h2so4----> feSO4 + h2O Here fe is oxidised into fe2+ by h+ and the SO4^2- ion does not play any role in this reaction. You can replace the h2SO4 by hCl.
