Let,the sides are 6x, 7x, 8x. perimeter =420m 6x+7x+8x=420 21x=420 x=20. So the sides are 120,140,160 respectively. now area =root (s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)) =root(210*90*70*50) =8133m^2

6x+7x+8x=420 -> x=20. The 3 sides are 120, 140 and 160. Apply the area formula so that ther area of the triangle is 8133 m^2

The sides of triangular plot is in ratio 6:7:8 and perimeter = 420 meter. Then find area? Suppose, sides are 6x, 7x, 8x then perimeter = 6x + 7x + 8x = 21x = 420 meter. As, 21x = 420 meter, So x = 20. Then sides are 6×20 =120 m, 7× 20 =140 meter.8×20 =160 meter. Perimeter ÷...

As, 21x = 420 meter, So x = 20. Then sides are 6×20 =120 m, 7× 20 =140 meter.8×20 =160 meter. Perimeter ÷ 2 = 420 ÷ 2 = 210. Now area of triangle = under root of [210 (210 -120) (210 – 140) (210 – 160) metre 2. = 8127 metre 2. read less
