How to convert the ratios in its simplest form ?

Convert the following ratios in simplest forms,

Example-

a.)2:4

Choose the common number which can be used to divide both the digits in this ratio.
The common number/factor is 2.
Divide them both by 2.

We get,

2:4=1:2 (simplest form = cannot be divided further)

b.)12:60

Commonnumber/factor=12

12:60=1:5

c.)250:800

Commonnumber=25

250:800=10:32 (not the simplest form, can be divided further)

10:32

Takecommonnumber=2

10:32=5:16(simplest form,cannot be further divided)
