As you know petrol and kerosene are obtained from crude oil. Crude oil is simply a mixture of all these oils and other byproducts of petroleum. A fractionating column is used to separate these oils. The oils are boiled and are extracted at different boiling points. Just like the distillation of water...

The oils are boiled and are extracted at different boiling points. Just like the distillation of water where water is boiled and cooled off to get distilled water. Boiling point of petrol is 95 degree C and that of kerosene is between 150 to 300 degree C. Hence we can easily separate them using a simple distillation flask. Petrol will evaporate first and get condensed by the circulating water and get deposited in the collecting flask.

Which has more number of atoms, 100 grams of sodium or 100 grams of iron (given, atomic mass of Na = 23 u, Fe = 56 u)?
100 gm of sodium will have (Given mass / molar mass )x Avogadro's Number = (100/23) x 6.022 x 10^23 = 2.62 x 10^24 atoms 100 gms of Iron will have (100/56) x 6.022 x 10^23 = 1.07 x 10^24 atoms So 100 gms of Sodium will have more atoms.
