Poverty in India is an important issue in India. With one of the fastest growing economies in the world, clocked at a growth rate of 7.6% in 2015, India is fast on its way to becoming a large and globally important consumer economy. According to Deutsche Bank Research the estimates are nearly 300 million people for all Middle Class. If current trends continue, India's share of world GDP will significantly increase from 7.3 in 2016 to 8.5 percent of the world share by 2020. In 2011, less than 22 percent of Indians lived under the global poverty line, nearly a 10 percent reduction from 29.8 percent just two years prior in 2009.Poverty in India is a historical reality. From late 19th century through early 20th century, under British colonial rule, poverty in India intensified, peaking in 1920s Famines and diseases killed millions each time.After India gained its independence in 1947, mass deaths from famines were prevented. Rapid economic growth since 1991, has led to sharp reductions in extreme poverty in India. However, those above poverty line live a fragile economic life. read less

Find the number of terms of the A.P: 7, 13, 19, ...., 205?
The first term, t1=a = 7. The common difference, b=13 - 7=6. Last term or the nth term, tn=a + (n-1)b = 205. So, we have, 7 + (n - 1)6 = 205 --> (n - 1) = (205 - 7)/6 = 33 --> n = 34. Answer: Number of terms is 34.
