Right to safety. Right to be informed. Right to be heard. Right to redress (complain) Right to consumer education. Right to Basic needs. Right to the healthy and safe environment. read less

Producers/Service-Providers are mostly interested in getting more profit with less with production-cost/effort, so, they try to avoid the quality standards. When such a product/service is bought then the consumer is dissatisfied, so, in this situation the consumer is concerned about the prdouct's/service's quality whereas, the producer/service-provider is not concerned. And when the quality standards are of no concern to the them the consumer is always dissatisfied. Therefore, the only consumers' active involvement in the Consumer Movement makes the Consumer laws effective and consumer-pro. read less
