as you can see in the above picture the head contains nucleus which contains the paternal DNA.  towards to the Right to this head there is acrosome this acrosome has many functions one of them being release of hyaluronidase enzyme which helps in the penetration of the sperm head into the ovum by breaking down the outermost wall of the ovum. The neck forms a connection between the head and the middle piece. The middle piece consists of spiral shaped mitochondria. These mitochondira help to provide the energy required by the sperm while moving through the female reproductive tract (cervix,uterus,fallopian tube). The tail helps in the motility of the sperm to reach to the fallopian tubes where they will encounter an ovum and fertilize it. *One more feature is that they are somewhat rod shaped and broad at the head and narrow at the tail part. This morphology of the sperms can be related to physics since this structure halps in reducing the drag caused by the fluids present in the female reproductive tract.
