Let the two angles be x and y As they are compliments, x+y = 90.....(1) Given, x = y-24......(2) putting (2) in (1) y-24 + y = 90 So, 2y = 90+24 = 114 y = 57 Therefore from (2) x = 57-24 = 33.....answer.
