Dear Mr. Krishnaraj, Each board offers its own style of teaching to the student and it is very important for a career counsellor like me to understand the child's current aptitude, career interests and personality inorder to suggest the best board for him to study. While the State boards and the CBSE offers theoretical knowledge on the subjects with a general inclination towards Sciences and Mathematics, the ICSE and the International boards offer an all round curriculum focusing on Society improvement, subject related project work and additional vocational subjects such as arts, service or sports. Given that, there is no best board as such and it all depends solely on the child's personality and vision. Kindly get in touch for any queries. Good luck!
