Hello Venkatesan, IITJEE does require intense preparation and so does your school course work. Inorder to align yourself to IIT preparation it is very important for you chalk out your career goals very clearly as it is a long term and a calculated decision. Once your career planning is done and if you about to enter class 9, I suggest you to shift to a school affiliated to the CBSE board. Else, take up extra time in coaching either after school or during weekends to catch up with the IIT syllabus. But remember that balancing school and IIT prep is not important but what is important is to be clear of your path. That's the only way to stay motivated and balanced. Good luck!
