The aliens in this play speak English which seems to be quite a probable language. It may be possible that they are speaking English with different accents and slang. Had they not known English it would not have been possible to decipher the code. This makes them understand the code of the books.

The aliens’ speaking English is only imaginative. It is their language in the play because it is written in the author’s language. They would not have misinterpreted the books had they known English. They could have easily understood that they were some rhymes. They would not have chased the literal meaning of the words and made assumptions based on the representations. The aliens were from a different planet which makes it more evident that they didn’t know English. They needed some vitamins to decode the text which is a clear indication that they didn’t understand the text in its original form. read less

Answer: In this play, alien is speaking English but imaginative. As the play is written in English which is author's language so it is their language in the play. The aliens are from the other planet so definitely they cannot speak English which is the strongest evidence.
