Weight of solute =36 gm Weight of solvent (water) =100 gm Weight of solution = 36+100=136 gm Concentration=weight of solute/weight of solution *100 Conc.=36/136 *100 =26.47 % Nacl = 26.5%
Comments

Concentration is nothing but mass percantage , i.e. mass of solute/ mass of solution ( mass of solute + mass of solvent) So concentration of NaCl is 36/ (36+100) = 26.47 = 26.5

Weight of solute Sodiim chloride = 36 gm Weight of water = 100 gm Total weight = 136 gm Concentratio = (36/136) x 100 = 26.5 %

Helium atom has an atomic mass of 4u and two protons in its nucleus. How many neutrons does it have?
Mass number of Helium = 4 Number of protons = 2 Number of neutrons(n) = Number of Mass(A) — Number of proton (P) = 4 – 2 = 2 Thus, No. of neutrons = 2
