The silk route starts from China passes through the KUSHAN kingdom( India) onto Iran and Western Asia. This route laid foundation for the trade and cultural exchange between the above mentioned countries. This also led the Christian missionaries and Buddhist missionaries to establish their religions in these areas/countries. read less
