Let the original speed of the train be x km/hr. Let's convert 48 minutes in hour, which will be equal to 48/60 = 0.8 hour. Time = distance/speed. Distance = 360 kms. t1= 360/x, t2= 360/x+5, t2 = t1-0.8. 360/(x+5) = (360/x) -0.8. x =45km/hr
