During my time at IIT Delhi, I actively participated in the Unnati initiative under the National Service Scheme (NSS). As a volunteer educator, I taught science and mathematics to school students from underprivileged backgrounds. This role involved not just delivering lessons but also understanding each student’s pace, building their confidence, and adapting my teaching style to suit their individual learning needs. It strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to simplify complex topics in an engaging manner. In parallel, I have been mentoring local JEE aspirants in chemistry, helping them build a strong foundation in physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry. I focused on strengthening their conceptual understanding, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies. Many of the students I tutored saw significant improvement in their mock test scores and developed a better grasp of topics that previously challenged them. This hands-on experience has enhanced my ability to teach core concepts effectively and support students in competitive academic environments.
