SJ Academy is dedicated to preserving and promoting the timeless tradition of Thanjavur-style Bharatanatyam. We provide structured training for students of all ages, from beginners to advanced levels. Our curriculum includes adavus, abhinaya, theory, nattuvangam, and Arangetram preparation, ensuring that students receive authentic and holistic training in this classical art form.

We are privileged to have Guru Smt. Lavanya Senthilvel as our Bharatanatyam Guru. With her dedication, expertise, and passion for Bharatanatyam, she imparts authentic training rooted in the rich Thanjavur tradition.

The classes are conducted by her dedicated disciple, Kumari Yeshodra, who teaches the students with patience, discipline, and care, following the guidance and vision of her Guru. Under their mentorship, students not only learn the art of Bharatanatyam but also develop confidence, discipline, devotion, and a deep respect for our rich cultural heritage.
