I am Sadhvia Surendran, a practicing doctor and experienced medical educator with 13 years of professional experience in the medical field and around 8 years of teaching experience. I teach MBBS and various medical subjects, covering the major areas that students need to understand during their academic journey. I also provide Spoken English training, helping learners improve their communication skills and confidence.

I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree and have gained extensive practical experience through my work as a doctor. My professional experience includes working in the ICU and Emergency Room, where I have encountered a wide range of clinical situations. This practical exposure allows me to bring real-world medical examples and clinical perspectives into my teaching.

For the past 8 years, I have also been teaching dental students and helping them understand different medical and dental subjects. Teaching has been a very rewarding part of my professional journey, particularly because I enjoy simplifying complex topics and helping students develop a stronger understanding of their subjects. I focus on explaining concepts in a way that connects theoretical knowledge with practical clinical situations.

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and practical. I prepare lessons according to the student's academic requirements and use clear presentations, whiteboard explanations, and organised study material to make topics easier to follow. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the class and actively participate in discussions so that they can develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorising information.

I make extensive use of real-life clinical examples and case-based discussions while teaching medical subjects. My experience in the ICU and Emergency Room helps me explain how theoretical concepts can relate to actual clinical situations. Through these examples, I aim to help students understand the reasoning behind medical concepts and develop a more practical perspective towards their studies.

I also focus on exam-oriented learning while ensuring that students develop strong conceptual foundations. I help learners identify important topics, understand difficult concepts, clarify their doubts, and approach their examinations with greater confidence. My sessions are adapted according to the student's level, academic requirements, and areas where additional guidance is needed.

I conduct my classes online and use PPTs and a whiteboard to make sessions structured and engaging. Along with medical education, I provide Spoken English training for learners who want to improve their communication and confidence. My goal is to create an interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can gradually strengthen their academic knowledge, practical understanding, communication skills, and overall confidence.
