I have around ten years of experience as a lecturer and trainer in English and soft skills. I have taught English and soft skills to both undergraduate students and corporate employees in India and abroad. I have extensive experience in the field of ESP (English for Specific purposes) and EAP (English for Academic purposes). I have also delivered programs like presentation skills, effective communication skills, creative writing and group discussions.
Apart from academic duties I have attended numerous workshops and seminars related to teaching of English and have published a paper related to the importance of literature in the language class.
I have specialized in English with an M.phil and have an Advanced Diploma Program in Professional Development in Training from the American TESOL Institute, USA.

I have a distinguished academic record and have been awarded numerous times for my achievements. I was awarded the certificate of First Rank and silver medal in M.Phil in 2001 and the A.V.Thilak Ashok prize for being the best student in academics and co-curricular at the B.A and M.A levels. A certificate of Appreciation was awarded by the Honorary Consul General of India to Rwanda for participation as compere on the 60th Anniversary of Independence Day of India, 2007 in Kigali, Rwanda.

I have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and is a certified soft skills trainer.
