IdentityI come from a strong foundation in traditional Indian performing arts, with formal training in both Carnatic vocal music and Bharatanatyam from a young age. My musical journey has been rooted in disciplined, classical learning, focusing deeply on voice culture, shruti alignment, breath control, diction, and bhavam, alongside consistent performance exposure. I have performed at multiple cultural and dance events, and I also regularly sing for Bharatanatyam performances, which has strengthened my understanding of how music supports movement, emotion, and storytelling.
In recognition of my training and dedication, I have been awarded a Government of India scholarship (ICCR) for both Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music. Having recently graduated from school, I bring a unique advantage as a teacher. I clearly understand the learning challenges students face today and know how to break down complex concepts into simple, structured, and achievable steps. My teaching approach balances traditional rigor with clarity and encouragement, ensuring that students build strong fundamentals while also developing confidence and musical expression.
As a music teacher, I focus on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to practice consistently. My lessons integrate technical exercises, repertoire building, theory, and expressive training, tailored to each student’s pace and goals. I strongly believe in nurturing not just good singers, but well-rounded musicians with discipline, sensitivity, and a genuine love for music.
