IdentityWith over a decade of experience in teaching piano and keyboard, I have built a career rooted in both passion and formal education. My journey in music began at a young age, inspired by my mother, who was also a music teacher. I first started teaching others the keyboard as early as 1993, and by 1996, I had embarked on my own learning journey, eventually reaching Grade 8 in Keyboard and Grade 6 in Music Theory from Trinity College London. Currently, I am pursuing further certification in piano through ABRSM, continuing to deepen my musical expertise.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing at various prestigious events, starting from Grade 10 with light music performances. I have participated in over 75 university competitions, winning four significant awards. One of the highlights of my career was being awarded India’s Best Performer in Light Music by A. R. Rahman’s sister at IIT Sarang, a title I held consecutively. My experience extends beyond teaching and performing; I have also contributed to the music industry through recorded compositions for Sun TV and Star TV.
Presently, I am proud to be a part of Shankar Mahadevan's Music Academy, where I have been recognized as the Best Professor, a testament to my dedication to teaching and mentoring the next generation of musicians.
My classes are available both at my studio and online, offering flexibility to my students. Each session lasts for an hour and is highly practical, focusing on live demonstrations and hands-on practice. I follow the Trinity syllabus to ensure a structured and comprehensive learning experience. My approach is interactive and personalized, designed to help students master the keyboard and piano while nurturing their love for music.
