I specialize in teaching Accountancy to students of Class 11 and 12 under the CBSE curriculum, and I bring over 22 years of teaching experience in both school settings and private tutoring. For the last two years, I have also been conducting online classes, offering the same level of engagement and clarity that students would experience in a physical classroom. My teaching journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to student success and a passion for the subject.

I hold a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), which have equipped me with both the content mastery and pedagogical skills needed to teach complex accounting concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of curricula, including CBSE, IGCSE, and state board syllabi, which has made me versatile in my approach and adaptable to different student requirements.

My teaching career includes 3 years of experience in a CBSE school and a highly enriching stint in the Maldives, where I taught IGCSE Accounting. This international teaching exposure broadened my perspective and helped me refine my instructional methods to suit global academic standards. I was honored with a Distinction Award during my tenure in the Maldives for my dedication to teaching and for making a meaningful impact on my students’ performance.

In my classes, I follow a structured and student-friendly approach that mirrors classroom-based learning but with added flexibility and interactivity. I use a whiteboard for step-by-step explanations, encourage live discussions, and include practical examples from real-world business scenarios to help students relate to the content. I also make use of worksheets, assignments, and previous years’ question papers to reinforce concepts and prepare students thoroughly for exams.

I believe in the importance of regular revision and numerical practice, which are critical in a subject like Accountancy. My lesson plans are carefully designed to ensure conceptual clarity, followed by frequent Q&A sessions, mock tests, and feedback loops to monitor and improve student performance. I create an environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and are never hesitant to clarify doubts.

What sets my teaching apart is the blend of academic discipline and real-world application. I make sure that students not only understand the logic behind accounting principles but also learn how to apply them effectively. Whether a student is struggling with basic journal entries or aiming to score full marks in complex company accounts, I adapt my pace and strategy to meet their learning goals.
