I teach Chess, Quantitative Aptitude, GRE coaching, and CAT preparation, combining my passion for strategic thinking with my expertise in competitive exam training. Over the past 5 years, I have guided students in mastering both intellectual games like chess and rigorous academic challenges such as GRE and CAT. My approach blends analytical precision, problem-solving techniques, and strategic planning — skills that are equally valuable on the chessboard and in exam halls.

I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from one of India’s top 5 business schools. This academic background, coupled with my own competitive exam experience, gives me a unique edge in mentoring students. I secured a 100 percentile in the Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) sections of the CAT 2015 exam — an achievement that reflects my deep understanding of these subjects and the strategies needed to excel in them.

Alongside my academic expertise, I am an experienced chess player with an online rating of 1800. My love for chess extends beyond casual play; it’s about teaching the art of foresight, pattern recognition, and calculated decision-making. In fact, one of my proudest moments was securing 3rd place in a state-level chess tournament, a testament to my competitive experience and dedication to the sport.

In my GRE and CAT coaching sessions, I emphasize clarity in concepts, speed-building techniques, and problem-solving approaches tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I break down complex problems into simple, logical steps, ensuring that students build confidence alongside competence.

For chess coaching, I focus on strengthening fundamentals, improving tactical skills, and introducing strategic depth to each learner’s gameplay. I believe that chess teaches life skills — patience, planning, and adaptability — which extend far beyond the board.

I conduct both online and offline sessions, using whiteboard teaching to visually explain concepts and strategies. My lessons are structured yet interactive, ensuring that students remain engaged and actively participate in problem-solving and discussions.

Ultimately, whether it’s preparing for a high-stakes exam or sharpening chess skills, my goal is to help students think smarter, perform better, and develop the confidence to take on any challenge with a winning mindset.
