I am a passionate teacher of Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Vocal Music, dedicated to nurturing a love for Indian classical arts in students of all age groups. With over 18 years of teaching experience, I have guided hundreds of learners on their artistic journeys—helping them discover discipline, rhythm, and expression through dance and music. My teaching philosophy is rooted in preserving traditional values while making classical art accessible and enjoyable for every student.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (BE) and a Master’s degree (MA) in Bharatanatyam, a combination that reflects both my analytical and artistic sides. Additionally, I have completed Diploma courses in Carnatic Vocal Music and Nattuvangam, which have enriched my understanding of the intricate relationship between rhythm, melody, and movement. These qualifications allow me to provide a holistic approach to my students, blending theory, practice, and performance with equal emphasis.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of organizing and participating in numerous cultural programs and stage performances across India and abroad. Each year, my students and I perform in around four to five major stage programs in cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, and various other parts of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. These experiences have helped instill confidence and stage presence in my students while giving them opportunities to express their artistry before large audiences.

My teaching extends beyond India. I currently train online students from the UK, USA, and Nigeria, many of whom actively participate in cultural events in their respective countries. Seeing them represent Indian classical dance and music on international platforms fills me with immense pride. These interactions also give me insights into cross-cultural appreciation of Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music, helping me adapt my teaching methods for global learners.

I offer both online and offline classes, ensuring flexibility for learners from different regions and age groups. I provide certificates to younger students upon successful completion of their modules, and for learners aged 14 and above, we facilitate certification through government-approved institutions. For adult learners and professionals, we conduct specialized Certification and Diploma courses in both Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Vocal Music. These programs emphasize not just performance but also the theoretical and spiritual essence of these art forms.

My ultimate goal as a teacher is to preserve, propagate, and celebrate Indian classical arts in their purest form while nurturing creativity and confidence in every student. Whether it’s through graceful dance movements or soulful musical expressions, I aim to inspire my students to experience the timeless beauty and discipline of our cultural traditions.
