I have been pursuing my passion for Bharatanatyam for the past two years. With a final year BA in Bharatanatyam, I have developed a deep love for this beautiful art form and aspire to become a professional dancer someday.
Over the last two years, I have conducted dance classes at home for students who share my passion for this art form. I have also been offering yoga classes as per my client's requirements. So far, I have trained around ten online and offline students. My classes typically last an hour or an hour and a half, and I provide theory and practical lessons. A solid theoretical foundation is crucial for a dancer, and I ensure that my students understand the basics of Bharatanatyam before moving on to more advanced classes.
In addition to teaching in person, I offer online classes for students who cannot attend in person. I understand that many of my students have busy schedules, so I am flexible and offer courses at times that are convenient for them. I provide detailed notes for all my classes, which my students find helpful. My notes include instructions on the various steps and hand gestures involved in Bharatanatyam, as well as explanations of the underlying philosophy of this art form. I love sharing my knowledge and passion with others and seeing my students develop their skills and confidence as they progress. I am excited to continue this journey and see where it takes me in the future.
