Kamini K.

I am an English Educator and Academic Administrator with over 15 years of experience in education and institutional leadership. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Department of English at Sri Chaitanya Techno School and am also working as a Guest Lecturer, contributing to higher education through specialized lectures in English language, literature, and communication skills.

Previously, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Panimalar College and Jaya College of Engineering & Technology, where I taught English literature, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and technical communication to undergraduate and postgraduate students. My responsibilities included curriculum design, communication workshops, soft skills training, academic mentoring, and fostering student-centered learning environments.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in English at Anna University. I hold an M.Phil from Stella Maris College, and both my M.A. and B.A. in English from Queen Mary’s College. I also completed my B.Ed in English from Sree Sastha College.

In addition to academia, I gained international corporate experience in Singapore as an HR Assistant at Dragages Singapore Pte. Ltd., managing HR administration and compliance with Ministry of Manpower regulations. I also worked in trade operations at SingaporeMotors.net.

My expertise includes curriculum development, faculty mentorship, educational technology integration, English for Specific Purposes, research in technology-supported pedagogies, and academic leadership. I am committed to promoting innovative, student-centered teaching practices that enhance communication skills and global competence.
