I am the founder of Ghunghroo Tales Kathak Dance Academy, where I train students in the Lucknow Gharana tradition, combining classical rigor with creative expression. At my academy, I offer: Beginner to advanced-level Kathak training Exam-oriented coaching under Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal One-on-one as well as group classes (offline and online) Performance-based training for stage, competitions, and cultural events Guidance in Taal, Laya, Bhav, Abhinaya, and compositions like Thumri, Kavit, and Gat Bhava My teaching methodology blends: >Strong theoretical grounding >Focused technique-building (Tatkaar, Hastak, Chakkars) >Emphasis on abhinaya and storytelling >Encouragement of individual creativity Several of my students have successfully completed certifications and participated in performances under my guidance. My goal is not just to teach steps, but to nurture disciplined, soulful dancers who understand and cherish the deeper values of this classical art form.
