Academy of Indian Music and Arts , regd is a non-profit charitable trust founded by the multi faceted musical legend and visionary Padmabhushan Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. T.V.Gopalakrishnan in 1984 to uphold and propagate the glorious Indian music, arts and heritage .
Its main 5 pillar objectives are: Preservation, Project oriented research,professional Education,Propagation,Protection and help for the needy musicians.
WHY TVG AIMA ??
There are multitude of multitalented children and adults who are willing to shine themselves in fine arts, given an opportunity. What they need, is an environment where they can shine and blossom, a team who will believe in them and invest in their future. TVGAIMA is a place where they bloom and shine in an environment of art culture and love without any pressure of targets or judgements.

Our strategies include revitalizing traditional music pedagogy in contemporary forms; developing, testing and disseminating new teaching and learning methodologies and curriculum materials; organizing teacher training workshops; and providing opportunities for talented AIMAites to create and perform new music that is at once rooted in tradition yet not constrained by it.

We at TVG AIMA, desire to give them the arena to do what they are best at and realise their potential from the best of teachers who are guided and trained by Guruji TVG himself.
