She followed the Alliance Française curriculum using the Cosmopolite textbook and activity book and so was insistent on a minimum of 60 hours of lectures for each level, which I do believe is necessary- many other tutors whom we consulted at the beginning tried to reduce this teaching requirement to 30 hours at the cost of a comfortable learning pace. She is a very professional yet flexible teacher, accommodating our busy and constantly changing schedules.
