Working with children with diverse learning needs has been a deeply meaningful and fulfilling journey for me over the past 7 years. I specialize in Special Education, supporting students with Learning Disabilities, AD/HD, Behavioral Disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech Impairment, and slow learning challenges. In addition, I provide phonics training to help children build strong foundational literacy skills. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every child feels understood, confident, and capable of learning.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a background in Psychology, which has helped me understand child behavior and learning patterns more effectively. Alongside this, I have completed several specialized certifications and diplomas, including ABA Therapy (Applied Behavioural Analysis), a Diploma in Learning Difficulty Management, and a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Diploma. I have also trained in areas such as dysgraphia, handwriting development, literacy remediation, sentence writing, paraphrasing, and preschool management.

My professional journey began as a behaviour therapist under the guidance of Ms. Meera Ramani at the Behavioural Enrichment Centre. I later worked as a behaviour therapist at JSS International School in Dubai, where I gained valuable international exposure and hands-on experience in supporting children with varied developmental needs. These experiences have shaped my approach to teaching and therapy, making it more holistic and child-centric.

In 2022, I founded my own remedial centre, Kaizen Corner Early Development Centre in Chennai. Through this initiative, I continue to work closely with children requiring individualized attention and specialized support. My focus is on early intervention and structured guidance to help children overcome challenges and achieve developmental milestones.

My teaching methodology is structured, practical, and highly interactive. I design detailed lesson plans tailored to each child’s specific needs and learning pace. I believe that no two children are the same, so I adapt my strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning. My sessions are engaging and aim to make children feel comfortable, motivated, and involved.

I use a combination of tools such as PPTs, videos, and activity-based learning to make sessions more engaging and easy to understand. Visual and interactive methods play a key role in helping children grasp concepts better and retain what they learn. I also work closely with parents, providing guidance and regular feedback to ensure consistent progress.

I offer both online and offline sessions, making my services accessible to a wider range of students. My aim is to empower children with the skills and confidence they need to succeed academically and in everyday life, while creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for their overall growth.
